GET INVOLVED

Help hope take root.

Veteran Hope Alliance is building a community where veterans and military families can find practical support, meaningful connection, and opportunities to grow. There is more than one way to help build it.

BUILDING TOGETHER

We are at the beginning of this work.

Veteran Hope Alliance is developing its gardens, agricultural education, food-security efforts, outdoor opportunities, and community partnerships. Some projects and volunteer roles described on this page are plans—not activities currently open or underway. We will communicate clearly about opportunities as they become available.

GIVE YOUR TIME

Volunteer with purpose.

A strong veteran-support organization takes many kinds of people and skills. You do not have to be a veteran or have farming experience to express interest in volunteering.

As Veteran Hope Alliance develops, potential needs may include hands-on project support and behind-the-scenes assistance. We will discuss available roles, expectations, orientation, and any applicable safety requirements before placing volunteers.

Ask About Volunteering

Ways skills may be useful

  • Garden planning, planting, and maintenance
  • Agricultural and animal-care knowledge
  • Building and grounds projects
  • Events and community outreach
  • Administrative and office assistance
  • Photography, storytelling, and communications
  • Teaching practical skills

These are potential areas of need, not currently advertised volunteer positions.

WORK TOGETHER

Build a stronger network for veterans.

Veteran Hope Alliance does not have to do this work alone. We welcome conversations with organizations and individuals whose resources, experience, or relationships could help veterans and families in North Central Missouri.

A partnership might involve education, referrals, volunteer support, donated materials, professional expertise, or collaboration on a future project. Any arrangement would be discussed and agreed upon before being announced or launched.

GIVE HOPE

Help turn a promising idea into a place of opportunity.

Financial gifts can support Veteran Hope Alliance’s mission and the careful development of its veteran-focused projects. Our plans include raised garden beds, livestock facilities, beehives, an orchard and vineyard, a quail habitat, and future educational activities.

You can give through our secure donation page. If you wish to discuss support for a particular project or an in-kind contribution, please contact us before donating so we can explain current needs and any applicable restrictions.

Our approach

We are committed to describing proposed projects honestly, using charitable resources responsibly, and sharing organizational and financial information as it becomes available.
