We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share donor personal information with any other organization, agency, business, or individual without the donor’s consent, except when disclosure is required by law, necessary to process a donation or requested service, or needed to protect the rights, safety, property, or operations of Veteran Hope Alliance.

Payment Information

Online donations may be processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe and PayPal. Payment-card numbers, bank-account information, and other payment credentials are provided directly to the payment provider and are handled according to that provider’s privacy policy and security procedures.

Veteran Hope Alliance does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers or bank-account numbers submitted through third-party online payment processing services. We may retain limited transaction information needed for receipts, donor records, accounting, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Donor Information and Sharing

Veteran Hope Alliance does not sell, rent, trade, exchange, or disclose donor lists or donor personal information to other nonprofit organizations, businesses, agencies, marketers, or individuals without the donor’s express consent.

We may disclose limited information only in the following circumstances:

  • When the donor has given clear consent or has asked us to make the disclosure
  • To trusted service providers that perform services for us, such as payment processing, website hosting, email delivery, accounting, technology, or data-security services, and only as needed for those services
